Introducing the Ogham 54 DS twin keel
The first boat developed by Ogham Yachts , the Ogham 54 SP is an aluminum cruising sailboat designed to offer an unparalleled sailing experience. Featuring a deck saloon, it provides a 360° panoramic view from the cockpit to the saloon, combining the pleasure of sailing with exceptional comfort.
Entirely designed and manufactured in France, between Normandy and Brittany, construction of the first unit began in April 2024. Here are some photos during its manufacture.
Concept – Smooth circulation and complete comfort
The contemporary interior design of the Ogham 54 is based on the ” Monomaran ” concept, which allows for single-level layouts, ensuring simplified circulation from the cockpit to the saloon, via a fully equipped galley.
This deck saloon sailboat, available in twin-keel or centreboard versions , offers above all unparalleled sailing comfort.
Design – Elegance, stability and performance
The hull of the Ogham 54 is distinguished by its aft lateral wings, improving the driver’s forward visibility and increasing deck space. The uncluttered and functional transom facilitates access to the tender and swimming, while also providing practical storage solutions for various equipment.
The sailboat’s mast, placed directly on the deck, lowers the boat’s centre of gravity and limits structural stresses.
Centralised anchoring ensures better weight distribution, reducing pitching and rolling.
Layout – Well-being and modularity on board
The cockpit, which is very well protected, ensures optimal safety and ergonomics of the space thanks to comfortable bench seats and easily accessible navigation equipment.
Inside, the spaces are generous and cleverly optimised for storage : clothes, food, onboard equipment…
The smooth lines of the fittings ensure safe movement at sea , while the generous upholstery and wood tones create a warm atmosphere, with touches of light for an increased feeling of space under the ceiling.
The high-quality materials of this aluminium sailboat, and its meticulous finishes, testify to a quest for perfection and luxury.
At Ogham Yachts, each sailboat is a unique creation. The interior layout of our boats is fully customizable and modular, designed to adapt to the specific desires and needs of each owner.
